The article that follows is the thoughts leading to how I came to those conclusions and key personal takeaways from my training down there.
Before we dive in, here are some key points to remember:
these 5 points are reflective of the current meta in the professional no-gi Jiu-Jitsu game
these 5 points are by no means all-inclusive assumptions about Jiu-Jitsu
there are exceptions to these 5 points — but not many — and I will mention those I see that they are relevant
