Of course, Jiu-Jitsu has always been about skills, but in the last few years, the way that we build skills in this sport has improved and changed a lot. The specific skills that we focus on in Jiu-Jitsu have also changed a lot.
Being a white belt today is very different from being a white belt in 2015. Being a competitor today is very different from when I started as well.
