When I started this premium newsletter, one of my goals was to get other writers besides me to share stories and approaches to Jiu-Jitsu that are different from mine. That’s why, for this article, my friend Max Hanson from Adamas Jiu-Jitsu in Toledo is stopping by to share some of his thoughts on growth on the mats. It’s your first month on the mats. Depending on what gym you go to, you could be in a room of (at least what appears to you as) superhumans. Young athletes doing the impossible all around you, and when asked about how they do x, y, and z, their knowledge on the subject seems to be endless.
