Last weekend, I was in Chicago for a busy weekend of teaching, training, and seeing friends and family.

Since moving to Texas I’ve been back to Chicago a few times now, and although every time I swear that I’m going to relax while in town, it ends up being a busy work trip. I was home for 3 full days and I did 3 seminars, 4 private lessons, and spent pretty much all of my time in the gym.

However, given the new gym that Serafin BJJ is located inside — Gym 1801 — I didn’t mind being in the gym all day. It was really nice, and if I needed a break I could just step into the cafe at the storefront of the gym.

Today, we’re talking about perfect Jiu-Jitsu gyms and what these gyms mean for the future of Jiu-Jitsu.
